Giddings Library News Corner

When you need to give a gift for a loved or deceased one give a memorial to the Giddings Public Library. A beautiful book called Hymns Of Faith And Inspiration was given to the library for Leonard Krigel. This lovely book has many church hymns plus an account of where they came from.

Lillie and Hershel Doyle have the book Dear First Lady given in honor of their 70th wedding anniversary. Filled with letters to and from the First Ladies, the book is both amusing, heart breaking, and heart -warming. Two other gifts are A Gift To Texas Public Libraries and Say You’re One Of Them.

Some new large print fiction books are Shadow Of Doubt by Cathy Hake, in regular print, A Promise To Believe In and A Love To Last Forever by Tracie Peterson, and two large print westerns- Wild River Massacre by Jack Curtis and The Last Days Of Horse-Shy Holloran by Bill Pronzini.

Some non-fiction include The World Atlas Of Dog Breeds, We Bought A Zoo by Benjamin Mee, The Princeton Encyclopedia Of Mammals, and The Illustrated Encyclopedia Of Animals Of The World. The Hidden Magic Of Walt Disney is complete with secret tips on how to find more to do at Disney World.

When You Have To File Bankruptcy explains the bankruptcy process in detail. The Handbook Of First Aid And Emergency Care put out by the American Medical Association can help you be prepared for all emergency problems. Other books are Scholarships And Financial Solutions, Social Security Handbook, Dr. Apple’s Symptoms Encyclopedia, Texas Civil War Artifacts, The Resume Empower, People Of The Book, and Small Scale Magic Party Tricks And Optical Illusions.
