4-H KIDS COLLECT COATS

The Northwest Lee County 4-H Club started their year with a coat drive. Family and friends were asked to donate gently used coats, jackets, and sweatshirts. About 100 coats were collected. Club managers, Donna Morgan, Lucy Torn, and parent volunteers laundered the coats. They were given to Lexington School counselors for distribution as they deem necessary. Special thanks to those that donated. The Club will also be holding a garage sale Saturday Nov. 7 at the Blue Volunteer Fire Department.
