Eagle JV Falls to Jarrell

The Eagle JV lost their last game of the season to Jarrell 18-16. Lexington was leading at halftime, but could not keep the homestanding Cougars from scoring in the second half. Lexington took the lead via a safety. Ray Gardner tackled the Jarrell quarterback in the end zone for the safety. Jason Washington was the next to score on a fouryard run. Washington also added the PAT via a run to make the score 10-6 at halftime.

Todd Glass added a score on a 10-yard run in the second half. Jarrell was able to add two scores in the second half to earn the win.

Washington completed seven passes on the night. Glass caught two for 30-yards. Colin Wiggins snagged two for 24-yards, Logan Meuth caught two and Zach Lay bagged one for 13 yards. Washington had 126 yards rushing on 22 carries. Glass had 42 yards on 10 trips. Leading tackler for Lexington was Tyler Meyer with eight stops. Others making tackles were: Christian Connor 6, Antonio Washington 5, Kevin Johnson 4, Oscar Sauceda 3 and a fumble recovery, Gardner 3, Jacob Snyder 2, Jason Washington 2 and a fumble recovery, Glass 2, Wiggins 1, and Tommy Stegall 1.
