Lexington Clinic Welcomes Amelia "Mia" Williams, PA

St. Joseph Lexington Family Medicine Clinic is pleased welcome Amelia "Mia" Williams, PA to their team with a Community Meet and Greet on Friday, November 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the clinic.

Patients are encouraged to visit and mingle with Mia, Dr. Burkhart and the Lexington clinic staff at this event. Refreshments will also be served.

Amelia "Mia" Williams began working at the St. Joseph Lexington Family Medicine Clinic in March of this year.

In addition, Dr. Burkhart is back to the clinic full time from maternity leave.

Williams graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Prior to PA school, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. During that time, she worked as a medical assistant and lab tech with an allergist/immunologist in Bryan/ College Station.

"The fulfillment of working with patients during that time fueled my desire to continue my education so that I could be of greater service," said Williams. "I enjoy being able to help people and work with my patients."

Williams' wide variety of experience spans two years of working in general and emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology surgical clerkships and community, internal, pediatrics, geriatrics and psychiatry medicine clerkships.

Make plans to attend on Friday, November 6 and visit with the St. Joseph Lexington Family Medicine Clinic team.
