On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, the Lexington City Council met in special session.

Present were Mayor Willrich, City Attorney, Mark Luedeker, Councilpersons Tony Tavary, Tim Brown, Lori Barnikow and William Langehennig. Councilperson Greg Langehennig was absent.

Following the call to order, the Council convened into executive session in accordance with the Texas Government Code Chapter 551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charges against an officer or employee. (Police Chief)

The Council reconvened into public session in order to address the matter. Tim Brown made the motion to take no action. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 4 for.

On a motion by Tim Brown, seconded by Tony Tavary, the meeting was adjourned.

Saturday is Halloween. Hale Street will be blocked off from 1st. St to 3rd St. for Trick or Treaters. We hope all the kids will have a fun and safe Halloween!

Remember, Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day. Be sure to get out and vote.
