Fish Fry Benefit to be Held at the Park

A Fish Fry Benefit has been scheduled for Sunday, October 18, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 at the Lexington Park Pavilion to help offset medical expenses for Liz King, a former resident of Lexington. Liz was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in early 2009. Her son and his wife, Jim and Natasha (Hutson) Farris of Giddings, are organizing the event and invite all their friends and relatives to this heartfelt gathering. Jim is a 1997 graduate of Lexington High School and Natasha is a 2001 graduate of LHS.

A delicious plate of fried catfish, French fries and hushpuppies can be purchased for $7 each. Please help this friend in need and enjoy a great meal while doing a wonderful thing.
