Pictured above are ten Masons from Fife, Scotland, and several members of the Lexington Masonic Lodge. The Masons from Scotland enjoyed a delicious breakfast cooked by the local membership before touring the Lexington Log Cabins and other sites in and around Lexington. Nineteen men and woman, ten of them Masons, all from Fife, Scotland, visited the Lexington Masonic Lodge for breakfast last Thursday morning. They were in Central Texas putting on representations of their Masonic Degrees for other Lodges, including ones in Elgin, Round Rock, Austin and Waco.

During their ceremonies, they wear kilts and play the bagpipes, which they did during their demonstrations.

This is the second year this group of Scotsmen came to Central Texas, invited by an active Mason from Elgin. It was the Elginite who brought them to Lexington, to enjoy the Lexington Masons regular weekly breakfast.
