7th Grade- Lago Vista 20 Lexington 14 was the result of Thursday's game. The youngsters are 0-3 for the season but beginning to play better ball. Lexington scored on a 31-yard TD run by Tyler Page and W.E. Meuth passed to Andrew Lane for 40-yards scoring play. Lane ran over the PAT to account for all of Lexington's scoring. Meuth had a couple of good pass plays throwing to Brad Campbell and Lane.

Defensively Bryce Shirocky tipped a pass away from an intended receiver. Lane was the leading tackler with five stops. Others making tackles and their number were: Miles Hannigan 4, Walt Green 3, Samuel Meza 3, Campbell 3, Meuth 3, Caleb Braziel 2, Clay Brockenbush, Page, and Antonio Alayon.

8th Grade-The eighth grade continues to stumble losing to Lago Vista 34-6. All of the scoring happened in the first half. Lago Vista ran the opening kick off back to take an 8-0 lead quickly. Lexington went three and out. LV tried to pass for a score but Jamyon Scott intercepted for Lexington. LV scored twice more before Eriq Mitchell broke loose on a 63-yard scoring jaunt for Lexington's only points of the half and game. Lexington did get some running going in the second half behind the blocking of Colt Sunvison, Corey Strain, and Allen Junek.

Defensively, Mitchell led the way with nine tackles, all in the first half. Others making tackles and their number were: Nigel Cleveland 5, Sunvison 5, Devan Canon 4, Junek 3, Strain 2, Cameron Janda 2, and Noble Little, Derek Dane, Nate Holcomb, and Gabriel McMahon one each.
