Jimmy Terrell is having a good year at strong safety for the McMurry University Indians. Last Monday's (Sept. 14) McMurry press release was devoted to Jimmy's history and personality. After an arduous non-district schedule, Lexington starts district play this week. Time will tell if the caliber of competition Lexington has faced will help in district and post district action. I think personally Lexington will find district action tough as anyone we have faced. District 25-AA is a tough group with a lot of pride.
The Lady Eagle volleyball team has faced most of the tough teams in district play already. They could make a move up the ladder in the rest of district play.
The Cross Country team made a great showing against smaller A and AA teams. The team appears to be a threat to be one of the top teams in Region IV.
E.J. Hawkins is getting a lot of playing time at Northwest Missouri State. He is a senior and getting a chance to show his ability.
