Private Applicator Training and Testing

Individuals wanting to become a licensed private applicator with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) will have an opportunity to attend a training on Wednesday, October 14, in the Lee County Extension office, 310 South Grimes, Giddings.

The training consists of lecture, video and work-sheets.

Registration is $40 per person and includes training materials and catered lunch.

The training materials may be picked up prior to the class.

A private applicator license allows the purchase and application of restricted-use/state limited-use pesticides in the production of an agricultural commodity.

Check-in begins at 7:45 am and the training will start promptly at 8 am.

The training lasts approximately 3.5 hours. A TDA representative will administer the exam.

TDA license application fee is not included.
