Giddings Library Corner

Memorials to the Giddings Public Library are always a wonderful tribute to our loved ones. Each book or item has the honoree's name as well as the person's name who gave the memorial.

Ada W. Hancock, grandmother of Pamela Hutchinson, is remembered with two books - Learning To Quilt and First Time Quilt Making. Learning To Quilt starts one out with small quilts and runners with all the basic help you need. First Time Quilt Making has step-by-step instructions with photos, etc., for learning to quilt in six easy lessons.

Award Crenshaw, Jr. is remembered with Atlas Of American Military History that has maps and text about every U. S. significant military campaign and war. Award Crenshaw is also remembered with Popular Mechanics Complete How

To with all the help you need to keep your house in top condition as well as make improvements to add to the value of your property.

Home Outside, is given in honor of Beverly Lee for her 35 years of service to Bluebonnet Electric. The book gives instructions for ways to turn the outside of your home into the place you always dreamed of having.

Mary Lou Schneider is remembered with Taste Of Home's 5-Ingredient Cookbook that has 572 recipes that are easy to fix and only use five or fewer ingredients. The Complete Household Handbook containing the best ways to clean, maintain and organize your home is given in memory of Robert Keng.

The Library is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
