The Lexington City Council will meet in Special Session on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 5 p.m. at the Woodson Community Center for at least the fourth time this month. The City has been negotiating with Prosperity Bank for several weeks for the purchase of the bank building located on the Square in downtown Lexington. According to the agenda for this meeting, they will once again convene into Executive Session, and, hopefully will make a decision of whether or not to buy the building for a new City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
