Eight Sentenced in District Court

On July 17, 2009, the Honorable Reva Towslee-Corbet sentenced eight individuals appearing before her.

Christopher Ron Bradshaw, 19 of Giddings, had his previous probation revoked on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine, 1-4 Grams. He was sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ. He was assessed a $500 fine, plus $300 Court Costs, $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee, $140 Restitution, and $50 Drug Court Fee.

Jonathan Wade Moore, 18 of the TYC in Giddings, was charged with Harassment by Person in a Certain Correctional Facility Against a Public Servant and sentenced for Assault Against a Public Servant causing Bodily Injury. For each he was sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ, $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee and $300 Court Costs.

Kurt Levier Shepard, 26 of Dime Box, was sentenced for an original charge of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. He received a revocation of his original sentence and will be confined for 10 months in a TDCJ State Jail Facility. All costs previously assessed shall be paid plus $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee on Motion to Revoke Probation matters.

Darinal Gonzales-Gutierrez aka Sobee Lopez, 24, address unknown, was sentenced to six months confinement in Lee County Law Enforcement Center, $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee and $300 Court Costs on a charge of Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle.

Leo Paul Salitto, 44 of Sealy, was sentenced for Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methadone, 1-4 Grams. He was sentenced to five years in a TDCJ probated five years and ordered to pay $1,250 Fine, $300 Court Costs, $140 Restitution, $50 Drug Court Fee and $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee.

Joshua Sinclair Benson, 19 of Ledbetter, was sentenced to twelve months confinement in TDCJ State Jail Facility probated three years for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine, Less Than one Gram. He was assessed a $1,500 Fine, $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee, $300 Court Costs, $140 Restitution, $50 Drug Court Fee and a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee. He will spend, 73 days confinement in the Lee County Jail as a condition of the probation.

Kenneth Wayne Davis, 22 of Texas City, was sentenced to twelve months confinement in a TDCJ State Jail Facility probated three years for Possession of Marijuana, 4 Ounces - 5 pounds. He was ordered to pay $1,500 Fine, $300 Court Costs, $50 Drug Court Fee, $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, $140 Restitution and ordered to serve 50 hours community service restitution. He must also enter and complete a Drug Offender Education Program.

Warran Bernard Lincecum, age 42 of Ledbetter, received a sentence of twelve months confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center, probated two years, for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. He was assessed $300 Court Costs, $1,000 Fine, $400 Court Appointed Attorney fee, $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee and he must complete 60 hours of community service restitution. He will have zero tolerance as to any violations of probation while on probation.
