The Lexington City Council will meet in Special Session on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 5 p.m., at the Woodson Community Center.

Agenda items to be considered in this Special Session include discussion and possible action to approve the City of Lexington Drought Contingency Plan as presented. Also for consideration is possible action to revisit the Travel Trailer Ordinance.

Chief Davenport will present for consideration and possible action the interviewing and hiring of a police officer due to an officer's resignation.

The council will convene into Executive Session to deliberate the purchase, lease and value of real property in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, regarding the purchase of the old Prosperity Bank Building. Following Executive Session, the Council will reconvene into Public Session to take action on the purchase, lease and value of real property in accordance with the Open Meetings Act regarding the purchase of the old Prosperity Bank Building.

NOTE: the City Council may go into executive/closed session on one or more of the above agenda items, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551.
