Tristan R. Schultis, M.D., Joins St. Mark's Medical Center as OB/GYN

Dr. Tristan R. Schultis Dr. Tristan R. Schultis St. Mark's Medical Center is preparing to welcome a new physician to the community in August. Tristan R. Schultis, M.D., is opening an obstetrics/ gynecology practice in La Grange on Monday, August 3, 2009, and is joining the staff of active local physicians of St. Mark's Medical Center, according to President and CEO, Nathan Staggs.

Dr. Schultis' office is located in the St. Mark's Medical Office Building at Two St. Mark's Place, Suite 104 in La Grange. For appointments, please call: (979) 242-2205. Dr. Schultis is accepting new patients, including late term OB's.

A current resident of Covington, Louisiana, Dr. Tristan Schultis earned a B.A. degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from Xavier University before attending Louisiana State University School of Medicine from which he graduated, with honors, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree.

Dr. Schultis' postgraduate training and courses include an OB/GYN internship and residency at Charity Hospital-LSU Division in New Orleans, Louisiana, Microsurgical Techniques Course at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, the Texas Clinical Symposium on Female Pelvic Surgery at Women's Hospital of Texas, postgraduate courses in Advanced Pelvic Surgery from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and many continuing education courses yearly.

Dr. Schultis is a Fellow of American College of Obstetrics & Gynecologists, and is a Board certified OB/GYN - American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Schultis and his wife, Tina, have two sons: Blake and Brock. The family is currently in the process of relocating to La Grange.

Dr. Schultis offers patients care in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, and pelvic surgery.
