Meeting Scheduled About How to Become a Realtor
A turnaround in the real estate market is expected soon, and for people contemplating becoming real estate agents, now is the time to get the education so they are ready to take advantage of the eventual upturn.
Blinn College is holding an information session on July 28 to explain what it takes to become a licensed real estate agent. The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. in the Student Center Banquet Room on the Bryan campus on Villa Maria Road near E. 29th Street.
Blinn offers a certification program with a flexible schedule of classes throughout the day and evening. The courses satisfy the education requirements of the Texas Real Estate Commission for salesperson and brokers' licenses. The classes are taught by real estate agents and attorneys and cover contracts, appraisal, investments, law, property management, finance, marketing, and other principals of real estate.
