Local Hearing Care Provider Helps Impoverished Children

Local hearing care provider Randy Schoenborn and a team of volunteers will travel to Tampico, Mexico and Reynosa, Mexico for a hearing mission this month. The team will provide over 2,000 hearing aids to impoverished hearing impaired children and adults. "There is an overwhelming sense of privilege to be a part of this effort," said Schoenborn, owner of NewSound Hearing Aid Centers. "It is like having a front-row seat to witnessing lives changed."

The group consists of clinicians and patient care support staff from NewSound Hearing Aid Centers, the nation's largest Audibel provider with over 40 locations in Central and South Texas. NewSound is passionate about improving lives through better hearing. To this end, it proudly sponsors hearing missions each year with the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
