City Council Discusses Offer on Bank Building
The Lexington City Council held a special session on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Woodson Community Center to discuss a few important issues.
The council plans to discuss and possibly act on approving the bid on the 2009 water and sewer improvement project.
They also will discuss and possibly act on reconsidering buying land for a water well.
The council will discuss and possibly act to give the Bank Building/City Hall Committee the authority to make Prosperity Bank an offer on the State Bank Building.
In addition, Chief Davenport is requesting clarification and direction from the City Council on the newly drafted recreational vehicle ordinance.
As of press time, the Leader does not know the outcome of the meeting, but any actions will be reported next week.
