Mineola Ford Currey Devine
Born Minnie Ola Ford to Major Thomas and Minnie Griffin Ford, she grew up in Lexington, lived in Forest Grove Community, Rockdale, and for the last 25 years in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Mineola taught school in Cameron and Grand Prairie. A member of First Christian Church in Grand Prairie, she served as Sunday School teacher, Elder and an example to all.
Minnie Ola Ford Currey Devine, 86, died peacefully on June 6, 2009.
Survived by Thomas D. and Charlotte Curry of Grand Prairie and Larry E. and Belinda Currey of Willis, Texas, five grandsons, four granddaughters-in-law or fiances and one great-grandson.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor.1:13.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, June 12 at the Funeral Home; Service: 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13 at Bean- Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie. Graveside Service: 5 p.m., Saturday at Forest Grove Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas.
