City employee, Brian Flowers (far right), and his helpers installed a new water pump last week to replace the pump that broke suddenly on June 1. The emergency water restrictions are over, but the City of Lexington is back to its normal drought water restrictions. All lawn watering and car washing is to be done every other day between the hours of 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Residents north of 5th Street water on even numbered days, and those south of 5th Street water on odd numbered days.
