Five Youth in Vehicle Rollover
Four area teenagers and a man from Georgetown were involved in a one-vehicle rollover accident that occurred Sunday, June 7 at 8:44 p.m. Recent Lexington High School graduate Priscilla Mireles, age 17, was driving a 1998 white Oldsmobile Intrigue northbound on CR 309 near Adina when she lost control while entering a 90- degree left turn in the road. The vehicle exited on the right side of the road, dropped into the bar ditch and landed on its right side. The Intrigue struck a fence and began to burn as everyone exited the vehicle.
Passengers in the vehicle included Sabrena Delalobos, age 18; recent LHS graduate Yesenia Perez, age 19; Justin Gadison, age 21 of Georgetown and a 15-yearold juvenile. Gadison suffered minor injuries, but refused medical attention at the scene.
Lexington EMS, Lexington VFD, DPS Trooper Ordie Manor and Lee County Sheriff's Deputy Robertson all responded to the scene. The vehicle was completely consumed by fire and was towed. The driver was ticketed for having no driver's license and traveling at an unsafe speed.
