Danielle Steel, one of this area's most popular authors, has a new book, One Day At A Time in both hardback and CD. It's a story of three very different people who learn to take life as it is—one day at a time.

While My Sister Sleeps (in both hardback and CD) by Barbara Delinsky is a family portrait about the nature of life itself. Plum Spooky (in hardback and CD) by Janet Evanovich involves Stephanie and her pal in a hair raising experience. The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly is a thriller featuring LAPD Detective Harry Bosch.

Final Justice (both in hardback and CD) is book 12 in the Sisterhood Series by Fern Michaels, Lethal Legacy (both hardback and CD) is set among the dazzling treasures at the New York Public Library. Some other new books are Bone By Bone by Carol O'Connell, Ghost At Work by Carolyn Hart, The Archbishop In Andalusia by Andrew Greeley, Nemesis by William Bernhardt, and Crossroads by Belva Plain.

A Body To Die For by G. A. McKevett is a Savannah Reid mystery. The Treasure by Iris Johansen is an historical romance about an ex-harem slave, a reformed assassin, and a race to find a religious artifact. Salvation In Death (in both hardback and CD) by J. D. Robb is an Eve Dallas novel set in New York City in 2060.

Elmer Kelton has two novels in his Texas Sunrise book—Massacre At Goliad and After The Bugles.
