End of the Year Lexington High School Special Events

May 2009 was so full of award ceremonies and special events that we didn't have room for all the pictures. Enjoy few more photos of the LHS students who were so busy last month.

LHS Prom 2009 The prom was held on Saturday, May 9 and the rain didn't stop the teens from gathering for the traditional pictures at the Square. Pictured above are (front row) Shelby Graves, Katie Hoelscher (middle row) Leslie Knobloch, Kayla Goetz, Beth Haney (back row) Jeff Marburger, Dustin Mills, Justin Hanson. (Top, Center) Shelby Graves and Katie Hoelscher decorated their ride and drove themselves through town before their limo arrived. (Top, Right) Nicknamed, "Ninja Prom" by many students, the Oriental themed decorations created a dramatic backdrop to the elegantly dressed students as they danced. (Right) Limos picked up the party-goers and took them to various restaurants for dinner before Prom. Student-athletes competing in the Regional Track Meet missed dinner but made it to the dance. Pictured in front of the limousine are (l-r) John Turner, Melissa McHenry, Blake Brown, Aaron Berry, Lauren Johnston, Jeff Pena, Stefanie Albright, Zane Klienschmidt
