Giddings Library News Corner

The April book order at the Giddings Public Library contained several new CTL'S. They are Divine Justice by David Baldacci, Dashing Through The Snow by Mary and Carol Higgins Clark, Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler, While My Sister Sleeps by Barbara Delinsky, Plum Spooky by Janet Evonovich, Lethal Legacy by Linda Fairstein, Born To Run by James Grippando, Cruel Intent by J. A. Jance, Running Hot by Jayne Ann Krentz, Final Justice by Fern Michaels, Show No Fear by Perri O'Shaughnessy, Promises In Death by J. D. Robb, Salvation In Death by J. D. Robb, The Pagan Stone by Nora Roberts, One Day At A Time by Danielle Steel, and Mounting Fears by Stuart Woods.

Hardback novels include Show No Fear by Perri O'Shanghnessy, a Nina Rielly thriller that also features homicide cop Paul van Waggoner.

Mounting Fears by Stuart Woods is an intriguing novel involving a presidential election in Washington, D. C.

Some other new novels are Agincourt by Bernard Cornwall, The Shack by William Young, The 7th Victim by Alan Jacobson, The Price Of Butcher's Meat by Reginald Hill, Bright Futures by Stuart Kaminsky, The Shining by Stephen King, Elvis And The Dearly Departed by Peggy Webb, and The Wallflowers by Lisa Kleypas.

In the non-fiction sections can be found Wicked Intentions, a true shocking story about the Shelia LaBarre murders in a small New Hampshire town and The Christmas Sweater, a tale of family and faith by Glenn Beck, host of a television show on CNN. Other non-fiction books are Criminal Justice and The Policy Progress, The Purpose Of Christmas by Rick Warren, Statistical Abstract Of The United States: 2009, Massage National Exam, and 100 Ideas For Supporting Pupils With ADHD.

Library Hours: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday

Closed Sunday Story Time 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. every Wednesday for ages 3-6.
