Grand Jury Indicts Ten

The Lee County Grand Jury handed down indictments of ten individuals on March 23, 2009.

David Dean Baze, 40, of Giddings was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, less than one gram; Brittany Treshawn Burns, 17, of Giddings was indicted for Possession of Controlled Substance-Alprozolam, less than 28 grams, in a Drug-Free Zone; Adaryll Taryll Crawford, 29 of Lexington, indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine, 1-4 grams, Repeat Felony Offender.

Garrold Dwayne Farr, 46, of Lexington, was indicted for Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle; Alex McDowell, Jr., 70, of Lincoln, was indicted for Driving While Intoxicated - Subsequent; Zelma Elaine Mitchell, 54, of Rockdale, was indicted for Theft less than $1500 with two prior theft convictions; Billy Ray Pleasant, 41, of Giddings, was indicted for Burglary of a Habitation-Family Violence; Kenneth Earl Punchard, 26, of Giddings, was indicted for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substancecocaine, 200-400 grams, in a Drug-Free Zone; Matthew Todd Standhart, Coverse, TX was indicted for Criminal Attempt-Indecency With a Child; and

Tammy Renee Toliver, 33 of College Station, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
