Judy Baklik was born December 13, 1931 in Beckville, Texas to Major House and Lillian Aldorah (Plunkett) Williams. She was raised in Carthage. Judy became an Air Force bride in Hawaii during the Korean Conflict.

Hattie Mitschke was born in Serbin, Texas on May 5, 1921 to Paul and Louise Zoch Medack. She was a homemaker and a devout mother and wife.
